Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh: Three men have been arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district for allegedly gang-raping a teenage girl in a moving car. The incident took place on September 25, when the girl was returning home from school. She was abducted by the accused and taken to a secluded spot, where she was raped.
The accused have been identified as Sonu Tiwari, Amit Tiwari, and Brijesh Tiwari. They are all neighbors of the victim.
According to the police, the incident took place in the evening when the victim was returning home from school. She was walking along a deserted road when the accused, who were driving in a car, pulled up alongside her. They forced her into the car and drove her to a secluded spot.
Once there, the accused took turns raping the victim. They then dumped her outside the cow shelter and fled the scene.
The girl, after regaining consciousness, managed to reach home and narrated her ordeal to her parents. Her parents then took her to the police station to file a complaint.
However, the police initially refused to register an FIR. The victim’s family then approached senior police officers for help. An FIR was finally registered on September 26.
The three accused were arrested on September 26 and have been sent to jail. They have been charged with kidnapping, rape, and gang rape.
The incident has sparked outrage among locals. They have demanded strict punishment for the accused.
The case is currently under investigation.
